I'm paring down my Alembic "collection" (I'm told three's a collection). This bass, S/N 89MK5276 has the early (Series type) body style, all original, 2nd owner, with the G&G hard shell case. It's been lovingly played, has a chip in the paint on the tail, a very few small marks/blemishes and no buckle rash. Has a cocobolo top and back - gorgeous. Controls are volume and blend and two filters. Dual truss rods. New set of Elixr stainless strings. Runs on one 9 volt battery. Nice action, flat fingerboard, good frets, well balanced pickup adjustment, sustains forever, and really plays great. Paid $10,000, looking for $8950 plus insured shipping.

The Mark King bass is still available. The asking price was too high. All Alembic Club offers considered. It really is a gorgeous bass - and it's a player. Thanks.
