In addition to the bass and electric guitar, the seller has an acoustic guitar by the same builder.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/333250982542?hash=item4d974e728e:g:JyMAAOSwn9VfUsSG
The builder has a website:
http://stuartcorwin.com/
And here's another guitar w/ Alembic bridge:
http://www.robertcorwin.com/CorwinAssGuitar.html
That page stated that the guitar was build in Petaluma in the 70's. Wondering what connection is might have had with Alembic.
Here's another acoustic:

I found a thread a
talkbass
where the builder posted a couple messages.
"In 1969-70, I apprenticed to Luthier Robert Brown, Smithsonian trained, maker of Lutes, Guitars, and other early stringed instruments. I set up my own workshop in 1971, worked as full time luthier through 1978. A Lute I made was chosen for the Smithsonian's American Instrument Maker Exhibition, 1978. I made a total of 70 instruments, including 26 acoustic guitars, and 19 solid-body electrics. I specialized in the use of highly figured woods, solid design, and meticulous craftsmanship. All electric instruments were built with laminated through-body neck, reinforced with steel box beam."

Bro. Elwood and Forest and I keep a running thread (offline) that often touches on his adventurous wares.

Very cool looking guitar, but the headstock scares me a little. That’s a lot of break above the nut on the plain strings, especially the high E.
