Nice looking bass, though it appears to be missing a mounting screw on the treble PU.

Admittedly my memory isn't what it use to be but that bass looks familiar.

Nice looking bass.  It says brand new, never played, but the case looks like the ones from the 80s.  Might be cocobolo, but kind of looks like ebony too.  Probably has another wood as the core, and the neck looks more like maple and Purple Heart.  Cool bass though.

I would def say Macassar Ebony top and back on this one, and the typical Maple/Purpleheart neck with Ebony fingerboard. Very pretty!

Sure is. Reminds me of the wood in [poor_nigel's] old #80-1681.

Keith, is it the yin-yang that is familiar? I've had the same feeling... I thought it was pictured in the custom options page, but can't find it. I could swear we've seen this one before!

Yes it is the yin-yang inlay that rings a bell.
