A Happy Mother's Day ,dost I bestow,
To all the Mothers at ,Alembic Shop .
As well mayst I extend , such sentiment .
To all of you at ,home with family.

Making the journey to visit MA tomorrow.  (She lives 6 miles away) ???   I haven't seen her since last July 4th.  We do not talk on the phone......her hearing aids make it difficult to understand the conversation....phase shifting with digital equipment?  We weekly e-mail.

Her retirement community now allows visits as long as the visitors have had the full vaccine + the two weeks....masks still required.

She's 85 and I'm 61......I just realized these past few months have been the longest interval between conversations in my life! :D

This will be my 1st year without my Mom.  She always took her hearing aids out to talk on the phone.

My mom will be 96 next month.   I drove from California to New York and back twice last year to help her move into assisted living and to clear out her co-op.   (I wasn’t going to get on a plane).

Just got back from visiting with mine and swung by the ‘secret morel hot-spot’ on the way home.

Found one, going back tomorrow with my “cover”. 
4 dogs, no one will suspect us bending over picking stuff up and carrying bags... ;)
