because apparently people are clearing the all instruments of questionable parentage outta their closets and and asking exorbitant prices for them.  the latest shining example:

Yeah, for that price you'd think they would include shipping.

Because the truss rod cover is so small, and picture of it in the case, I think that may be a medium or even short scale bass.  It might just FEEL "extra-long" scale to the seller.

It would be prudent to have a peek under the hood of that Modified IN-2 as well .

I thought it was was going to be the beautifully quilted maple bass that I’d seen previously, yet no. I will say that I do love my Alembic, but I’d probably sell it for 29K.  ;D  It has ruined me for all others though. So, maybe not.
