very strange phenomenon going on in the mile-high city these days. i wore out the set of optima golds that i put on the mighty MK as an ill-fated experiment (even boiled 'em once for good measure). that gave me an excuse to get a fresh set of rotosounds on it and be back on my merry way. i nip into the local GC and the shelves are bare (of bass strings and almost everything else for that matter). get on line and none of the stores in the area have them either. i've heard that GC is circling the drain, i guess this confims it.
gonna hafta patronize juststrings. so much for instant gratification ☹️
