Broken volume pot on 5-string Epic. Help!
« on: January 28, 2021, 11:25:04 PM »
Hi. I have an Alembic Epic 5 string that has a broken volume pot. The number on the bass says 95W9163 USA. The bass was knocked over and the pot's plastic hull broke away from the metal part going through the body to the nut that keeps it in place. In other words the whole pot came apart. also the yellow wires that are attached to the tiny circuit board came loose. Is there any chance tho get a new pot/circuitboard anywhere?
I unfortunately in a great hurry to get it fixed, but i live in Finland. I would be grateful any help or advice.

Markus,  that is unfortunate.  Please post some pictures so we have a solid understanding of your words.  There are other members around the globe that may know of resources for a ‘quick fix’ close to you.

Good luck!
Paul
