Note also, the position dots are on the
treble side of the neck. That's it. This has to be the same bass. Four years later, it's back.
Either the seller doesn't realize it's a semi-destroyed/restored bass or they are misrepresenting it. Most certainly is not original condition. Still very happy to see someone fixed it - that poor thing was in awful shape!
*I think the backplate is either upside down (inside-out) or homemade David. (because it was a lefty, and originally mounted on the other wing) I remember the preamp card being 90° turned too.
**the bird tailpiece is even still crooked.
