Happy T-Day everyone!   Senior Management and I will be enjoying our little feast while indulging in our Thanksgiving tradition:  The Godfather Marathon.  We get through at least two and often all three.   I was hoping Coppola’s soon to be released re-cut of III would be out by now but alas, like almost everything else in this strange 2020, we’ll be waiting for next year.

Maybe it’s because it Thanksgiving and a day off from work (and I didn’t turn my brain on this AM) but when you indicated you and your significant other would be watching The Godfather Marathon today my brain went like this “Godfather marathon, Boston marathon, Chicago marathon, NYC marathon.” I actually took a peak at live streaming sports to see if I might also catch this 26.2 mile race. It took about a minute into my search for me to have a the clarifying moment “Oh, Bill means that kind of marathon.”

With 2020 being the roller coaster it has (and I didn't have to duck around forest fires or hurricanes), my bills are paid, my kitchen is full, my wife and I are fine, and I have a steady job:  I am blessed way past what I deserve, I think.  Maybe I'm earning my wings after all.
