For insurance you should use the Replacement Value I emailed you. I know that George Gruhn does appraisals by photos for a fee. He's very well respected.

I used to use the quote generator for my valuations and asked Mica for a replacement value if they insurance company queried it.

Are you asking about the value for resale reasons?

Otherwise Mica's insurance reference would be appropriate.

Resale value is rather ambiguous as you can sell an Alembic for whatever someone is willing to pay.

Case in point if my Exploiter that I sold many years ago ever comes up on the block I would be tempted to pay much more than a 'normal' purchaser would.
