I just picked up the beauty today, on a trade. Love it! Hi Mica, can you provide the history and build. Thanks in advance.

Lovely Epic, but I am biased, as I have one too, and it looks almost like yours! Yes I must post a photo too, mine is a 1997 4 string, great value, have fun!

Hi Roy, Here's what I can tell you from the instrument file:

top: Flame Walnut
accent: Maple pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
pickups: Alembic MXY4
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
originally made for: Guitar Center, Chicago
birthday: October 3, 1994

Very pretty bass!

Thanks Mica. I’m looking to order a custom build, one of these days. What are the lead times currently?

It depends, Roy. Something simple might have a five-six month lead time. If you have heavily customized electronics or inlays it will be much longer.
