The connections on the battery clip on my classico are badly corroded when i got it but still worked with a new battery. However 18 months later and putting a new battery in this week i could not get a good connection even after cleaning the contacts so i think the wire that attaches to the clip must have now eaten away. I have had a look on ebay for a replacement but the wires on them look thinner than those in my bass. Is there a recommended core diameter for this wire as i don’t want to get one too thin that might not deliver sufficient current to the electronics. If possible can you tell me this in metric as we dont use AWG over here.
