Jaw Dropping.
I never really payed much mind to a "set neck" but wouldn't expect nothing less than a perfect fit and it is certainly pretty.
For me, one of the appealing aspects of Alembic (outside of the obvious electronics) is how the form of them just scream for you to touch them and appreciate the profile, blended radiis, etc. etc...
Steve, seeing as you are new here I should disclose that I really have a problem with being infatuated with the back side of these instruments; for me it displays the "basic" foundation of what is true Craftsmanship of function AND form.
The fronts are spectacular with the fancy book matched woods and shiny hardware and inlays that bedazzle them... but the back shows the simple structure behind all of that glitz and glam and I find it so oddly satisfying.
