It's a beautiful transparent teal. I've owned it for about 15 years.

That's a nice bass, Ross.  8)

I reckon Mica's still unpacking boxes from the Wiljan Ct. exodus, so it may be a little while before she gets back to these. I'll go ahead and guess yours is an all maple Essence, (in the obvious color scheme) and based on the serial number, she must have left home in the first few days of January 1992.

Hi Ross,

Here's the details from the instrument file:

top: Flame Maple
accent: Walnut pinstripe
body: Maple
neck: 3-piece Maple
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
finish: Carribean Blue transparent
pickups: Alembic MXY
controls: "Essence" volume, pan, filter, mono output
originally made for: Steve's Quality Instrument, MA
birthday: January 23, 1992

We haven't heard from this bass since it was made, looks like you are giving it good play time!

Thanks so much, Mica.  Yep, it's a beauty -- and it plays and sounds as good as it looks!
