Going to take some new photos of this bass as the ones posted dont do it justice.  It has a gloss finish on the body, a satin finish on the back of the neck, and has blue LED's.   For Halloween last year, I used this bass, and I added "phases of the moon" fingerboard inlay stickers.  You cannot feel them when playing, from 5 feet, they look like rather expensive inlays.  They are easily removable if you think they take away from the simple elegance of a black-on-black bass.
