Acoustic Image Clarus

Just wondering if anyone has experience with the Acoustic Image Clarus SL 2?

I’ve been poking around online and it seems to be well liked by acoustic bass players, and I was wondering how well it is suited for electric bass.

Compact, light weight (<2.5 pounds), 600 watts, two channels with low pass filter, sounds like a winner!

Rob, I have an older model Clarus 2... fantastic little amps. I use it primarily for upright gigs, but it's friendly to my Alembics as well. If memory serves, mine is only 300w @ 2 ohms. Mine has a switchable high-pass/notch filter... not sure if later models have this.

*emailed you a pdf of the manual... ;)

Maybe that is the solution for your quest for a compact, light weight amp and cab!

Itching to try one of these!

Im intrigued by that as well.  I started studying double bass this past summer and while I don't require an amp for what im doing with it now, id love to hear it through that.
