Well, it dropped to the upper-30's-lower 40's in Franklin County last night, so the fine folks at Chaos Mountain Brewing Co. moved us to the indoor stage... and then opened all the garage bay doors and windows. Thanks again covid... 'preciate that.
Fortunately, I took enough clothes for about three people, and my first love, my Alpha Alembic, the Persuader 5-string, and the '67 Guild Starfire. Not to be outdone by anyone at the costume party in progress, Josh Grice showed up dressed as Buzz Lightyear, complete with a jetpack. The show went on. We were joined by Fiddlin' Billy Hurt, always a treat. Billy showed up, dressed as himself, which according to him was scary enough. I went for a bass-playin' gun-slinger look. Mostly, I was trying to not freeze to death.
As always, it was great to see the guys and play. That's it for us this year unless something else comes along. We may try to get together around the Holidays for a jam, and there was talk of a Band Reunion with past members. We'll see if it happens. That would be fun.
*Is that Bigfoot sneaking up behind my bass rig there?!

Word has it, there is a small tribe of them on the slopes of Cahas Mountain... I ain't never seen one, but I know a lady who swears her little dog... ahh, nevermind.
