I am looking to sell my Alembic Series I. I have had it almost a year.This was from Mica a while back:There is an invoice from 2010 where we did an RF upgrade and did a complete refinish and we did fix the peghead in 2006. We also glued in a loose inlay (invoice doesn't indicate which one)" Also has Red Led's.
This is the best sounding of all the Alembics I have ever owned. The length of the neck and weight is wearing on my body and I have to scale down in size, hopefully not tone.
I recently was in California and visited the mothership and they gave the bass a clean bill of health. I forgot the name of the cat working in the shop...anyway he said the peghead is now stronger than it was before it had its accident many years ago.
