2006 28" Short Scale - Reverb

My last Ritter was a 33" and I've played several 30-32" scale basses, but never a 28".  =)

Nice!  Thank you very much.

This may sound silly, but can it be strung EADG and played as a short scale bass (i.e. will it hurt it to run 50-105's on it?). 


The only reason I ask is because I'm a nylon tapewound junkie and I haven't seen a 45-100 set of nylon tapewounds.

If you intend to use regular tuning thicker strings may sit better on a short string, it will probably keep the stiffness closer to what you're used to.
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!
