I think it looks more like rosewood in the first photo, or maybe Purple Heart.

I think Koa is on headstock, but don't get how people don't write any details about bass that cost 4500 euros
The bass player’s function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car… everything else is merely colours.

I was guessing vermilion or purpleheart on the top... didn't see a picture of the back. Man, those bridge saddles sure are cranked...  ???

Definitely! The pickups are also installed incorrectly. Perhaps someone did a setup that wasn't very proficient.
