This Entwistle Alembic sold a while back and the new owner's intention is to put it on display in a music memorabilia museum open to the public, at least that's what I've been told. Details of the sale are necessarily confidential, but I am very happy with the transaction. The estimates of value expressed here and on TalkBass were incredibly low. It seems obvious, but people should be careful in evaluating views expressed on open internet forums, as you usually can't tell if there are undisclosed conflicts of interest. Good faith differences of opinion are one thing, but when a dealer (who doesn't identify himself as a dealer) badmouths a bass or the value of the bass at the same time he's pestering/harassing the owner with repeated low ball offers, that's a totally different thing.
