Man a god price for beautiful bass.
The bass player’s function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car… everything else is merely colours.

Interesting, that it also features an aluminum bridge block. Now that is a true JJ feature. Seems like we saw this one before, on ebay maybe, but it's been a good long while.

Yeah, nice looking bass.  Something about it seems familiar... and yet...  Ha!  Not a bad price I suppose for a bass that looks like it has never been played.  It's not a Series though and I have no idea what kind of sound it makes.

I don't think Alembic made many of these.  I was honored, amazed, and a little embarrassed that they offered a JJ model for a short period of time.  But I'm afraid my personal design ideas didn't appeal to many others - even with this wider more standard string spacing.  As I eluded to in another thread, the more customized you get the less likely you are to find others who agree with your wacky design ideas.  :D

That's right Jimmy, but I seem to find my 1980 shape more comfortable than Balance K... but, I'm still in testing stage, I love how my old bass has wider body... And I was 100% sure that Balance K would be better...
