There's some errors in that listing (Ron Armstrong never worked at Alembic).Ooops! He did work at the retail store, I learned something new today. But that would have been long before this bass was made. 

But we didn't sell the bass in 2012. It came in the front door around then and we originally installed a single pickup and a Blaster in it to get it minimally functional for the owner. This bass is a mystery. There's no serial number, and I don't believe it was ever finished. This is either a personal project instrument, or an abandoned build for some defect (the Lacewood on the back doesn't look like it was original to my eye), and like a few others, it may have left here unauthorized. 

But it exists, and at least 2 people have put some love in it.
