We love members to have great alembic experiences especially first timers. This is one of the many reasons you will get to love this forum. When anyone gets their first alembic and shares it here, its like a new birth into this global alembic family.
I just read that back and it sounds like i’ve been watching a woodstock documentary, well yes i did last night so i better go tree hugging this afternoon.  ::) 8) ;D
Great catch Dustyrider, and as someone here told me years ago. Plug  it in, turn the filter fully open, turn the volume up and hit the open A string!!!
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

I will post a photo, but I am having trouble doing so. How do you post a large photo file on this site?

There is a size limit for photo attachments. I always forget what it is so a while back I found the info below and saved it for future reference. If you are using a Mac you can resize your images using preview, haven't owned a PC isince the mid-90s so no idea whether the OS comes with photo editing software. Much more control if you use Photoshop, first reduce the pixel count using Image/Image Size then use File/ Save for Web and Devices which will further reduce the file size as it saves the resulting jpeg file.

"First reduce the physical size; the maximum height is 1,200 pixels and the maximum width is also 1200 pixels.  Next is reducing the file size; the maximum file size if 500kB, and no more than 10 attachments per post."

One quick way I've learned to resize pictures for posting here... send them to yourself by text message. My phone automatically resizes them, usually well below the limit.  ;)

Nice!

I had Honey’s twin (assume that is the maple necked one?).  I traded the neck for my first six string.  Yes, just the wonderful maple neck!
