The Orion was a huge hit last night - got many comments on the sound and the looks!
Alembics have the ability to cut through a mix without overpowering anything - just extreme clarity.
And of course, it is SOOO easy to play... (Hey guys! Do we HAVE to stop playing???)

Good to hear that you got a great response from the Orion.  Alembics are such rewarding instruments to play and the tonality is superb as you now know. if you can get a chance to hear it FOH it's incredible. I went to a couple of gigs that one of our forum members Geepee played on and the sound out front is incredibly clear and powerful without being overpowering but it clearly sets the overall tonality of the band. So I have a better idea now of how my bass is supposed to sound out front.

The Series bass I have is both physically and sonically HUGE. This one is much more tight and punchy, very similar to the Rogue I used to have. It's perfect for the current group I'm playing with.
