Julius meets Sweet Maple
« on: July 30, 2019, 04:35:40 AM »
I have a Maple Alembic guitar. It was custom made to my knowledge by Alan Clontz for a friend named Jim. Alan played it quite a bit in the his last band Grewp Onit that he asked me to play bass in. He acquired it from Jim. After Alan passed in 2000 his wife needed to sell it and I wanted to keep it in the musical family. I bought it mostly because Alan had graced it with his musical genius for 20 years. What an inspiration to so many. He loved Alembic. The Legend lives on in His Alembics. What good is it to have it if we can't pass it on. The serial# is 79-1406 USA Rt after the 24th fret.
