That's nice!

The current issue of Vintage Guitar magazine has an ad for the new Darling Bass; looks really sweet!
Did I miss a thread on this?  Is there info on it available?

I really like the aesthetic of the Darling body applied to the short-scale bass... I've been meaning to ask if it's scaled up any, or a direct carry-over.

Darling bass body  =  Darling guitar body. Works fantastic on a short scale bass.

In February I did an ad for a Series I with a Darling body, and this current issue they asked for some photos of basses, for a bass section, and so I thing you're talking about this bass, Peter?

On the Facebook and Instagram feeds, I've featured a few Darling short scale basses, including a group of solid black Darlings that went to Germany. There's also a custom body shape Darling bass as well in that mix.

Ah - I don't FB or IG, so that explains my ignorance of this development.  And yes, Mica, your first pic is the one I saw - though, upon checking that, I see that it's in a feature (pp 46-48) on "modern guitars, basses, and gear", not a bass section or an ad (but on p 17 there is an ad with a gorgeous MKD).

And, as I said, the Darling is very sweet as shown; if the bass p/up was moved neckward & the was top Rippled Satin walnut, I might have to take up bank robbery.

I love the look of the new Darling bass. I also saw it in VG - happy to see the new model!
