Alembic Series basses on new releases
« on: June 11, 2019, 09:53:41 AM »
My record label, Heart & Commerce, is in the process of releasing several titles featuring Alembic basses on a number of tracks.

The first track ["Overture (Shibumi)"] on my double vinyl LP features a 1981 Koa-topped Series I shortscale bass:

Track #4 ["Abra"] on Cut To The Chase Anthology Volume 1 features a 1975 Series I zebra-topped LSB that recorded absurdly well.

Track #16 ["Homicide" Live at the Railway Club] on the same album features a 1986 Series I/II medium scale Indian Rosewood bass

Nice!  I especially liked the fretless tone and playing on Abra.

Thanks for listening.  Volume 2 of the Cut To The Chase Anthology should be up shortly.
