would lemon oil in contact with the nylon wrap on my Labella flats cause the nylon to deteriorate any way?

No idea V but I always put my old strings back on for a day or so to soak up any residue before the new strings go on.

I used to use Fender Tapewounds on my fretless, I used lemon oil on them with no problem with the nylon wrap degrading.
Not sure if LaBella and Fender wrap with the same nylon tape.
