50th Anniversary Fun Things!

OK, I'm a little behind in my 50th Anniversary celebrations, but I'm working out the logistics - more on The Gathering(s) later.

Today, I'm leaking a couple of photos of a cool item that'll be available in our store later tonight for preorder, and will be shipping no later than the week of April 29th. There's a bit of packaging to do and readying for getting a huge pile of these out, but I had to share on the Alembic Club first. So, here's my 50th Anniversary enamel pin. Hope you love them!

Greg - Yes, that is a vintage true cloisonné pin that back then cost us almost as much as we charge for the enamel logo ones now! I think there's only 250 of those vintage pins (I only have 2 of them).

Oh Boy. very tempted. Any idea how much shipping to the UK might be Mica?  I remember the shipping bill for the cloth patch was nearly as much as the patch itself.

Well, cool! It popped up in my Reverb feed a while back, and I just thought it would wear well on my suede vests... had no idea they were so scarce or even if it was genuine item. (had a pretty good idea though...) Just ordered myself a new one. 

Not sure how much your folks look at the Alembic Club here, but please let them know how much I appreciate 50 years of dedication to Excellence. Makes me so proud every time I put one of your basses over my shoulder. Meeting you, and playing them has been a life-changing experience.
