Alembic Essence for sale - thoughts?

Dear Alembic guys, I am interested in getting my first Alembic. There is one for sale available and I would like to asl you, if tjere is anthing susoicious your trained yes see here.. what is the reasonable price tag?

It looks suspiciously delicious.

A picture of the electronics cavity would help verify OEM setup.  I cannot and do not know for sure with an Essence if the pickups are embossed or not with the Alembic name.

A fair price is a tricky question.  Generally a fair price is one that the buyer is willing to pay.
Others here should be able to provide you a ballpark price... me? I am clueless in that arena.

Consider posting this in the Serial Number thread in the "Owning an Alembic" section. The administrators there can see if the bass matches the serial number. They, too, may ask to see the electronics. As said, a fair price is what someone will pay but the fairness of the price may be affected by what the serial number reveals. May you share the asking price?

Thank you all for your inouts. Unfortunately, bass was sold, for about 1500€.. :/

But I will keep my eyes open, my first Alembic waits for me somewhere..

Essences come available fairly often. Just keep looking and one will come your way eventually. I have a 91' and it's  favorite bass. Lots to love about  Alembic!

Those Sapphire Blue Essences are fairly rare, though. I have one and it’s just stunning. When I take it out of the case, conversation stops.
