The bass player’s function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car… everything else is merely colours.

Beautiful representation of his musicality in that link Dave.

The Tedeschi Trucks Band reveals (in my opinion) a tight night “family” both on and off stage.  I am sure they are grieving heavily. Healing thoughts for everyone.

So sad. I got to jam with him once back when he joined Aquarium Rescue Unit and it was a great experience (well, jamming with those guys always is, but he made a huge impression). What a sweet man.
