RIP [Jim Dunlop]
« on: February 07, 2019, 07:59:15 PM »
Can I see the hands of everybody here whose life was not touched in some way by Jim Dunlop?

No  one?  that's what I thought.  Mr. Dunlop, I'm sorry to say, passed away yesterday, Feb 6, at the age of 82.

My current favorite pick is a Dunlop (purple Delrin). I really really like 'em.
Your right , there must be  countless factors Jim Dunlop has brought to the table...many thanks for that.

Been using Dunlop .88 Tortex - the green ones with the turtle - for as long as I can remember.  Dunlop mini wah and mini volume, too.  He deserves a place in the pantheon of the greatest of the rock 'n roll gear innovators.

Used their Bass Wha for years, the white one, but recently moved to Snarling Dog's "Bootsy" Bass Wha.
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!
