Hi Harry, Sorry I'm late.
I didn't understand about "Egg effect" in Title.
"Allenbik" is only mistranslation but "Egg effect"

I didn't read anymore, because I'm not interested such Alembic Japan models.
I got one as junk, but PU and circuit is OK, now these are on my Hamer 12 st.
About mistranslated words :
I tried to translate in "Katakana".
Katakana is one of 3 types script for Japanese (the others are Hiragana and Kanji).
It is used when the Foreign words is written. It is based on pronunciation.
Therefore, the katakana "Alembic " is converted to "Allenbik " or "Allen Vic ".
The japanese word "E-Gu-I" :
It means bad taste as bitter or astringency.
If "E-gu" is written in katakana, it means like "F # #king ".
But Egg is written "E-ggu" in katakana, so both words are similar.
So, "E-Gu-I" effects translated to EGG effects.
I often used the translator, but the stupid translation has always made me laugh.
