John Entwistle and the V-Headstock Explorer on TV 1982
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:27:47 PM »
I understand the V headstock version didn't see much action.

Here it is in a live-fire situation. https://www.notreble.com/buzz/2018/11/26/john-entwistle-with-rick-wakeman-and-his-band-go-america/

I don't really dig the song much, but this is full-strength, Alembic-fueled "Ox". His solo starts just about 2 minutes in.

Thanks Tom.
I love the V headstock.   Since we moved I can’t seem to locate my stash of a half dozen Too Late The Hero album posters.

That bass on That cover is iconic.

I'm pretty sure I have the original case for that bass; molded plastic, fuzzy purple lining... :D

(Now I sorta want to listen to "Danicin' Master"...sorta :) )
