Curious if Alembic has ever made a bass guitar with a tremelo capable bridge?

Yes, I have personally owned a Series 1 with a Kahler tremolo. It was a short scale with Persuader body. Very cool!
I may have a video somewhere...

This Series II didn't come with the tremolo bridge, it was modded later, but, well... there it is.

I specifically remember a Custom Distillate with a Bigsby too. It was on ebay a few years ago. Had star inlays rather than ovals. IIRC, it was built for someone in the U.S. Armed Forces. Weird the details I can remember from years ago, yet I'm still missing the better part of two days.  ::)

So it seems that Ron and crew never executed a design themselves? These are all very cool by the way! Had no idea the Ox had a Small body series I. Wonder if Stanley got the idea to use the Bigsby from him or vice versa?

The bass I posted about  above was 100% original as made by Alembic.
But I think you are getting at that Alembic hasn't actually built the tremolo system, right?

We have not made a tremolo for bass or guitar.
