IN-2 thoughts

I hope this is the place to post this, as it isn't a bass or guitar, but it is Alembic gear.

I got the IN-2 fired up with an F-2B and I have to say that this thing is genius. All the front panel switching is fantastic, but the coolest part are the return jacks on the back that you connect to the F-2B outputs. When you do that, it switches the XLR outs and the rear outs to the output of the F2B while the front outs go to the inputs of the F-2B. No routing cables around the rack. If you want the XLR outs to be pre-F-2B, just unplug the outputs of the F-2B from the IN-2 returns and use those outs for your amplifier.

For some reason I have a couple weeks with no gigs, after tons of them all fall so far, so I'll have to wait to bring it on to the stage, but I think this thing is a winner.

It turns an F-2B into a dual F-1X (without crossover, but I don't use that feature any more).

Only thing I would like to see is a Mute switch, for silent tuning and being able to plug and unplug instruments, but that's no big deal.

No more need to lug my Grace preamp around!
