Series 1 HSC
« on: October 19, 2018, 10:05:29 PM »
I have the gig bag for my '79 Series 1 Omega tail but I think it really deserves to live in a hard shell case. It came with a flight case when I got it, but it had so many miles on it that the rivets started falling out of it.

Anybody know where I can get one? I've been after Mica to sell me one for a couple years now. Any help is much appeciated.

* I neglected to mention that it's a long scale bass - thanks

I ordered one through Will Gunn Guitars recently, but any listed dealer should probably be able to help you purchase one.

Hello Jim,
Not sure if your bass would fit, but I have a CalZone road case, in pretty good shape, that is sitting here.  I just bought a new case for my base from the "mothership"  The CalZone housed my 79 Series short scale bass. It was never "on the road", would have to say its 8-9 out of 10..... Inside is a 10.

The bass player’s function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car… everything else is merely colours.

We don't stock huge inventories of cases - we have so many shapes. I do have #36 cases in stock now, but that might change soon, as we have to reserve for the new basses that we are shipping if inventory dips too low.  The price is that same as my original offer to you in Sept 2017. The next shipment is due to come in late November, nut do note that the delivery date is not always accurate.

Thank you, Mica. I'll send a check that will hopefully cover everything. Please just ship whenever it's available.

Update!!!

I received a beautiful, immaculate G&G case from the Mothership that fits perfectly. All is now right in the world for and with #77-815. Thank you!!!
