Hot off the presses: "The Hum"...

Without yet looking at the references, this story strikes me as kinda dubious in origin, but intriguing and entertaining, nonetheless.  Also, it seems like a great idea for a 90's action flick, or a rock opera/rockumentary.

I think I heard the hum at Bag End a number of years ago when I was in town for the Chicago Alembic gathering.

(Or maybe it was those 21" speakers?)

Huh, that's an interesting confluence of events.  I think I feel "the hum" whenever I see fresh pineapple on pizza, or hear modern country.  But, should you do something more "fun" with the pineapple before it meets the pizza, I find "the hum" seems to dissipate some.

But, alas, I've found modern country does not temper upon adjustment.

I like pineapple pizza, in fact I’m enjoying one right now. :)

And here is where I now get in trouble; I am about one of three people on the planet who needs to mess with pineapple pizza to eat it and mostly enjoy or accept it.  I like jalapenos and pineapple with pepper flakes/lots of parmesan or curried ham and pineapple, but being part of this pineapple triumverate always seems to cause snags.  Or hum.  Enjoy your tropical/Italian feast, RV.  No trouble or hum intended.

The movie should use some Zep for the soundtrack;

 "...And it makes me wonder,
Your head is humming and it won't go,
 in case you don't know,
The piper's calling you to join him..."

Pineapple on pizza is almost as bad as a blueberry bagel.

So both good then.

This could be the biggest argument we've had here since Hal left.

As there is no real definition of "bagel" in the US, apparently, we probably should just cross the
now looming event horizon...

...PINEAPPLED PIZZA BAGELS.  They are a thing.

OK, that is Just Wrong on so many levels.....

If you want a real bagel you have to go to New York.  It's the water.  Plain, onion, poppy seed, sesame seed.  No pineapple raisin.  No french toast flavor.  No "everything".  No blueberry.  No garlic/asiago/jalapeno.

And while I've become a little more flexible on pizza, the number of toppings should still be limited to two, three at the most in dire circumstances.  None of the "five different animals died for your pizza" for me.

'nuff said.

Not only would I eat a pineapple pizza bagel, but I'd slice that sucker in half, add some cheese and throw it under the broiler.
