Casting a vote for the Alembicized fretless M-85... on at least a tune or two.  ;)

Thanks for the reminder - I don't think I'm going to use it live - I haven't been playing it enough, I took some time off from playing and have been working out on my Fender Ps. But I do want to record with it, so I need to take it to the space! I almost forgot!

Will decide soon if the AlFeMbic will be the one, or my MIJ Fender Duck Dunn P - they have both sounded good in rehearsal, both the D on the G string is a little weak, experimenting with the Fatfinger...

Quick vote for the Doubleneck, 'cause, Doubleneck!!

Not this time - but I actually have been moving towards making the public appearance of the doubleneck a reality!

The gig was fun - this time we had a tent so I was spared the sunburn! I was out of practice though and even though I thought my playing was adequate at rehearsal the night before, I struggled a bit at the actual gig. Thinking back, I realize now I didn't warm up at all, either at rehearsal or at the gig. Gotta remember that next time.

oddmetersam came and took some great pictures - here is my favorite of me and the AlFeMbic:

Neither the Alembicized Guild AleM-85 nor the doubleneck made it out - I had enough other gear what with effects, bass pedals and synth, plus powered speaker for the synth & kick drum!

Here's one more pic of the whole band by oddmetersam:

My friend Patrick Robinson came up from LA to do the gig - he's also the drummer in my other band Stanley Lighthead (we did a quick Stan recording session, not sure yet if there's anything worth releasing but I used the Guild AleM-85!).

Nice pics, I saw Sam taking pictures but unfortunately did not get a chance to say hello to him. Jen and I enjoyed hearing you guys play Saturday, bass sounded good, and we thought the band sounded better than the gig there last year, always a chill scene at Jack London Square. Really hoping they do not build a new ballpark down there, it will kill off one of the nicest most accessible and parking friendly places to hang out in Oakland.

Thanks so much for coming Stephen - wish I had more time to talk but we have to bring all our own gear to this thing - including PA & tent! It's fun playing there but I wish there was more shade in front of us for people.

I am sorry not to have made it .

Hey Wolf - it's always nice to see you wherever we bump into each other - it was pretty hot out in the sun on Saturday!

You guys made the drummer sit in the sun?  :)

You noticed! We didn't do it on purpose, honest! Actually I felt really bad when I looked at the pictures and noticed, I couldn't tell while we were playing.
