I was, and it's so hard to imagine we've lost Keith Emerson and Greg Lake.

I saw them touring behind BRAIN SALAD SURGERY in the early 70's, when they were on the road with a quadrophonic PA (amazing to see the mammoth stacks on either side of the stage duplicated 200 yards away out in the crowd!), and Keith had the rig where the Steinway grand floated out over the crowd and began to roll end-over-end, and Carl Palmer's spinning drum kit.  Not the funkiest stuff I ever heard, but they were serious players and a big player in prog rock in those days.

It's a bit worse in that the face has some resemblance to Chris Squire as well, or at least, it struck me as such.  And also I thought the purple amps were kind of a nice touch.

I had shared this story in the past,

In the years before Greg Lake began using those incredible Alembic's, Greg was one of the most visible Players using
Instruments made for him by the late English luthier Tony Zemaitis!

During the 1980's Tony & I used to write each other every Couple of months, He told me of the time Greg came
to see him about building a double neck instrument! Tony called it "the Twin" !

Tony warned Greg that it would be way too heavy, but Greg insisted!!  Tony went ahead & made him the metal front double neck!

Of coarse Tony was indeed correct, it was too heavy! Tony said that Greg tried to make it lighter!!, And messed it up! Tony did not go into what was done to the guitar or what repairs had to be implemented! Tony was a true English gentleman in all respects!

Here we are almost 45 years later, Tony & Greg are Both gone , Thank God we have our memories!!
