I was just thinking the other day - it's been a while since we saw a maple Distillate on here. That wild-looking custom Carribean-burst 5-string one last year I guess. Before that, there was a birdseye maple one that was just awesome. And Bassman Craig had one for a short while. None since.

Think it is a fair price. 
Thinking if I had disposable income, that maple would juxtapose nicely with my zebrawood!

Photos aren't he best but from what I can see it looks to be in very good condition. It has the extended upper horn like my first Alembic. Does the price include the case? If it does it's a very fair price. I paid $2000 for a Distillate over a decade ago.  And if youre located in the US don't worry about import duties. Since the bass was made in the US there are no duties as long as the seller fills out the appropriate paperwork.
