Hey Gang:
Is Goncalo Alves a good wood to use as a top and bottom with a ASH core?

I have a guitar I put together with a Goncalo Alves top over Black Korina. Gorgeous top. I think most of the response comes from the Korina.

Mica:
Isn't Goncalo Alves similar to mahogany in tone. ? It works a lot like Mahogany and Koa !
