Mostly because of my timing, I grew up on the later of formations of Fleetwood Mac, but I quickly recognized that they followed in the footsteps of giants. I knew many here favored the Green/Spencer/Kirwan days, and I very much appreciate the deference. I knew you guys would want to know.
I can't help but be a little struck by this quote from the RS article: "I get by and I suppose I am homeless, but then I've never really had a home since our early days on tour. I couldn't handle it all mentally and I had to get out. I can't settle." That's about as tragic a thing as I ever read. I've been thinking about it since last night.
Anyway, Peace to his family and friends, and former bandmates.
