I was too lazy to check the COTM archives but figured this one had to be in there, thanks to Bill for the detective work. The three ebony neck laminates and walnut top must make for a very "punchy" sounding bass.

Avoid the Middle-man (Reverb).  Go directly to the sellers website and save $500.00  The Bass Shop is run by Bass NW co-founder, Chad Beeler in Seattle, WA...It's on his website for $11,999.00.
Where are we going...and why am I in this Handbasket?

Interesting array of tonal opportunities. But I can imagine this would be quite a challenge to use live if you wanted a lot of tone changes between songs or even within the same song like I do many times.

very narrow string spacing. too narrow for me otherwise I'd have been interested. Always loved the flamed walnut look.

I agree. I'd rather have a full on Superfilter arrangement than a hodge podge of filter and B/T controls

I've got a soft spot in my heart for beautiful walnut and the crotch walnut used on this bass is incredible.
