Regarding your needing to order a case for bass... On both occasions in which I needed a new case I received a substantial discount ordering through an authorized Alembic dealer rather than purchasing straight through Alembic.  It was actually Mica who informed me that I could get this discount.  I have always used Will Gunn who is now in Oregon and sells nothing but Alembic gear to order both my instruments and cases.  I know there are other authorized dealers but Will has always been great to work with.

Hello Stefanie , Welcome to our Alembic World Family . I love your new Spoiler and hope that you will love the Alembic sound as much as  we do here as well . I have played many different manufacturers Bass guitars  since the early 1970's but have not found one that I love more then to represent my sound as much as Alembic . I hope that you enjoy this little corner of the internet , AKA " The Alembic Club " as well .

Just wanted to follow up a bit on my original posts. It's been about a month now? I guess... and I have to say that the more I play my bass the more I love it. I came from playing a mid 70s p-bass. As much as I loved that instrument, it doesn't compare to this one.  The playability and the tones just amaze me every time I pick it up. Everyone says great things when they hear it/see it.  I'm just wow over the moon! Thank you Alembic! (and all the nice people here, I enjoy reading the forum.)
