(x) Build Request for Essence 4 serial 96K9901

I just purchased a used Alembic Essence 4 serial number 96K9901 and would like to request the build specs showing in the file. I would like to especially like to know the wood types used in its construction. I think the top is walnut but not sure. Thanks.

Welcome to the club!

I saw the pictures you posted of your your four-string Essence on Talk Bass. Especially nice Essence! Top wood looks like Cocobolo, it is definitely not Walnut though the peghead face may be, hard to tell without a close-up. The accent stripe is a nice touch, most likely maple and the body looks like Mahogany.

Sometimes the build sheet look ups take time. Meanwhile post some pictures here, too, everyone loves to see pictures and your Essence looks extra special.

I need to find something that will reduce the pictures on my iPhone to 500 kB or less to post them on here. I received a message saying my file size was too large and they aren’t going through.

I have found the easiest thing to do is texting them to yourself... this will usually reduce the file to an acceptable size.
