Teach your children well

Or your grandchildren, as the case may be; Jake & Granddude went on a pilgrimage last week:

We were with the oldest son & youngest grandson in Sacramento 4/21-28; drove into San Fran for the day Sunday.  Didn't think to ask if anyone was around where we'd be until i was gone 7 away from my computer.

That's an awesome pic, Peter. More power to you for doing good by your grandkid like that!

A usual stop! This was taken by Benjy Eisen, who Xander and I ran into randomly there.

Too bad we weren't there at the same time, Edwin; four of us would have been closer to the classic every-hip-band-in-town photo!

As #1 son's in-laws helped found Sacramento, I don't see him getting out - so I'll return as well.
And that's fine, as I loved it too - except for things like lunch at Miller's Deli; it was wonderful - except for the part where I told the waiter "This is one check & it comes to me".  3 half-sandwiches, 3 cups of soup (cups, mind you, not bowls), 3 potato pancakes, 1 black & white cookie, 1 slice cheesecake.  With tip - $125.  That's freakin' nuts!
