You may not realize that Alembic is a small family run company, everything they make is custom and everyone there is very busy. Mica has indicated that they normally do not sell wooden parts like a fingerboard and if you want it inlaid, too, the work needs to be scheduled and a price determined. She hasn't indicated that they will not help but you will have to make the decision as to whether you want a local repair person to replace the fingerboard now, or wait until Alembic can schedule the work you would like done. I also love the Alembic oval inlays and if it were my bass would want to wait until I could get a fingerboard that had them.
As far as calling, if someone is readily available they answer calls between about 11AM and 4 PM PST. If you get an answering machine try again. The two people who answer phone calls, Mica and Mary, both have other responsibilities at work, too, there is nobody there that only answers and returns phone calls or email queries.
Hang in there... I am sure your bass is beautiful and well worth having repaired properly.
