We've only a fraction of leaves turning here so far, and the driveway's not covered over yet; but further up the mountain they're much further along.  Thinking of taking a drive up this week before all the tourists get here.

A drive sounds nice, David, and the multitude of colors in your area will be fantastic!  :)

We were out for a walk yesterday afternoon and then decided to drive up on the Parkway.  Turns out it's still too early for leaf season here even at the higher elevations.  But it was a wonderful day for both a walk and a drive.

Looking forward to leaf season pictures from everyone. (Reminds me of a couple of trips - a perk of a previous job - that took me to the DC area late October, early November. It doesn't get much more autumy than that.)

Those are the kind of views that feed my soul, Dave; thanks!

I took a couple pics yesterday, not sure when I will be able to upload them… the scenery in the Northwoods resembles more of a 1972 Fleetwood Mac album cover than a glorious display of color…
